Willoughby, OH – July 7, 2024 – On Sunday, the Cleveland Crunch hosted an adapted soccer camp for individuals on the Autism Spectrum in partnership with Share A Vision, a charitable organization that is committed to providing recreational activities for individuals with Autism and other disabilities. The camp was held at Lost Nation Sports Park in Willoughby, Ohio, and welcomed 17 eager participants aged 4 to 18.

Cleveland Crunch players led the camp, demonstrating essential soccer skills and guiding participants through stations that included passing, dribbling, defending, shooting, and goalkeeping. The camp’s activities were designed to meet the unique needs of autistic individuals and structured to be engaging and adaptable allowing the participants to learn and enjoy at their own pace.
Each participant also received a sensory bag provided by Share A Vision, a camp t-shirt, and a certificate of completion.
“Our goal at the Cleveland Crunch is to inspire a passion for soccer across Ohio and make the sport accessible for all, and today that was made possible with Share a Vision,” said Andriana Ruscitto, Cleveland Crunch Public Relations Director. “We can’t wait to continue our partnership and to host alike camps in the future.”
