CLEVELAND CRUNCH LAUNCHES CLEVELAND CRUNCH FOUNDATION TO MAKE SOCCER ACCESSIBLE FOR ALL

Cleveland, OH — The Cleveland Crunch is proud to announce the establishment of the Cleveland Crunch Foundation, “The Foundation,” a 501(c)(3) charitable organization dedicated to making soccer accessible to all. The Foundation focuses on underserved and marginalized communities in Greater Cleveland, providing youth with access to soccer, mentorship and opportunities for personal growth.

Founded on the belief that every child, regardless of their circumstances, deserves the chance to experience the joy and benefits of playing soccer, The Foundation aims to reduce the financial and social barriers that prevent many young people from participating in organized sports by providing them with free soccer clinics, training sessions, equipment and more. Additionally, The Foundation is committed to creating inclusive opportunities for individuals with disabilities, neurological disorders and physical impairments.

"We are thrilled to finally bring this vision to life," said Luciano Ruscitto, Cleveland Crunch president. “We believe that soccer has the power to unite people, build confidence and promote a sense of belonging. Through The Foundation, we’re helping to shape future leaders by investing in our city’s youth, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to play, grow and succeed. This is about giving back to the community that’s always supported us.”

In the past, the Crunch has partnered with organizations such as Special Olympics Ohio, The Hunger Network, Share A Vision, Portage Metropolitan Housing Authority, B Brave Foundation, Wigs For Kids, Toys for Tots, Fearless Fighters Foundation, Believe in Dreams and more. The Foundation will serve as an extension of the Crunch’s commitment to the community by providing funding and support to expand these initiatives and strengthen these partnerships.
