CLEVELAND CRUNCH SECURES VICTORY AGAINST OHIO EXTREME

The Cleveland Crunch secured a victory against the Ohio Extreme, maintaining first place in the MLIS league standings following their match Saturday night. The win marks 8 straight for the Crunch and their 9th overall this season. 


The game commenced with a strong start from the Crunch, as players like Ryan Minick, Tom Beck, Kevin Blackwood and Parker Csiszar scored early goals. Despite the Extreme's efforts, the Crunch maintained control throughout the first quarter, ending with a commanding 5-0 lead.

As the game progressed, the Crunch continued to extend their lead with goals from Admir Suljevic, MaCain Spragling, Beck and Csiszar. Although the Extreme managed to get on the scoreboard, the Crunch remained in control, leading 11-4 at halftime.

In the second half, the Crunch intensified their performance, with Suljevic, Csiszar, Brendan Swann, Aidan Bozak and Daniel Koniarczyk finding the net. The final quarter saw the Crunch maintaining their dominance, with additional goals from players such as Blackwood, Omar Najjar, Suljevic, Swann and Spragling. Despite their efforts, the Extreme couldn't bridge the gap, resulting in a victory for the Crunch.

Suljevic was named the MetroHealth Man of the Match for his outstanding performance, tallying 8 points, including 5 goals and 3 assists. The Crunch will return to action on Sunday, April 7, to take on Rapid City FC at 2 pm EST in Grand Rapids.
