CLEVELAND CRUNCH TEAMS UP WITH WICKLIFFE PUBLIC LIBRARY FOR 2025 SUMMER READING PROGRAM

The Cleveland Crunch is excited to announce its partnership with the Wickliffe Public Library for the 2025 Summer Reading Program, an initiative designed to encourage individuals to read and participate in library activities.This marks the second consecutive year that the Crunch has sponsored the initiative, helping inspire a love for reading while offering exciting incentives for participants.

Kicking off this week, the 2025 program — themed “Color Our World” — runs from June 2 through July 25 for children and teens, and through August 30 for adults. The Wickliffe Public Library expects to match or surpass last year’s impressive turnout of over 2,000 participants, as it rolls out a full calendar of activities and prize opportunities aimed at encouraging reading across the community.

To support the initiative, the Cleveland Crunch has donated two prizes:

  • A voucher for free admission for one child and a guest to attend the Cleveland Crunch Youth Soccer Camp, happening July 26–27 at Orlando Park in Wickliffe, Ohio.

  • A 2026 Season Ticket Pass granting access to all Cleveland Crunch home games during the upcoming Major League Indoor Soccer season.

Program Highlights:

  • Children (birth through completed 3rd grade): Register at the Children’s Desk. For every 5 days of reading, earn a small prize or a grand prize drawing ticket. Read for 50 days to become a Champion Reader and receive a bonus prize.

  • Tweens/Teens (completed 4th–12th grade): Earn scratch-off tickets for each book checked out. Some tickets include instant prizes! Additional entries can be earned by attending library programs.

  • Adults: For each book read or listened to, participants earn entries into weekly drawings and a final raffle prize basket.

Each day you visit the library earns you a raffle ticket for a chance to win one of the grand prizes. The grand prize drawing will be held at 10 a.m. July 25.
