CLEVELAND CRUNCH TO HOST OPEN TRYOUTS NOVEMBER 19

Cleveland, Ohio, October 5, 2022 - The Cleveland Crunch is hosting an open tryouts on Saturday, Nov. 19 from 12:00 - 3:00 p.m. at the Soccer Sportsplex in North Olmsted, Ohio, for the 2022-2023 Major League Indoor Soccer (MLIS) season. 

Check in for tryouts will begin promptly at 11:45 a.m. Participants will not have access to the field until 12 p.m. All tryout participants must be 17 years of age or older and will be required to show a valid proof of identification upon check in. Register at theclelvelandcrunch.com/tryouts.

Luciano V. Ruscitto, Cleveland Crunch managing partner, said he’s excited for the opportunity to continue growing the team as the organization ventures into the MLIS.

“We are thrilled to continue expanding the organization and the Cleveland Crunch brand within the MLIS,” Ruscitto said. “The future is full of opportunities, and we will continue to work to provide soccer fans in Northeast Ohio with an exceptional experience.”

Since its inception, ten teams have joined the MLIS for the 2022-2023 season, which includes: Brew City Legends FC (Milwaukee), Chicago Mustangs, Cincinnati Swerve; Cleveland Crunch; Detroit Waza Flo; Illinois State Line Falcons; Rapid City FC (Michigan); Austin Emerald (Texas); Houston Bolt (Texas); and Wichita Selection (Kansas). Additional teams are expected to join the MLIS for the upcoming season.
