CLEVELAND CRUNCH TO PLAY AT SOCCER SPORTSPLEX TO FINISH SEASON

by Crunch Staff

Cleveland, Ohio, March 1, 2023 - The Cleveland Crunch has announced it will play its last two home games of the regular season on March 18 and March 19 at the Soccer Sportsplex in North Olmsted.

The games were originally scheduled to play at the IX Center in Cleveland, but were canceled after the facility decided to part ways with the Crunch organization as the events were not a good fit for them “financially or operationally.”

The Crunch spent the last several weeks seeking out potential venue options, but the organization was unable to schedule its March events at a new venue due to overlapping occurrences.

With that said, the Crunch organization is very optimistic about the future, and is already working to lock in a larger venue for the 2023-24 season.

The March events at the Soccer Sportsplex in North Olmsted are as follows:

  • March 18 at 7:00 p.m. vs. the Detroit Waza Flo. Doors open at 6:15 p.m. (Benny Dargle Throwback Mullet Night)

  • March 19 at 3:00 p.m. vs the Cincinnati Swerve. Doors open at 2:15 p.m. (Fan Appreciation Day).

Tickets for the March 18 and 19 events can be purchased on Eventbrite through this link: https://www.eventbrite.com/o/cleveland-crunch-58851143343.

TicketSwift is currently updating its app. Tickets will be available for purchase on TicketSwift in the coming days.

All season ticket holders will be contacted regarding refunds for parking costs associated with the IX Center. Moreover, if you already purchased tickets for either of the events, your tickets are secure. You will be refunded accordingly for the cost difference of the IX Center vs. the Soccer Sportsplex.

While this is not the outcome we anticipated, we are still excited to put on two amazing events at the Soccer Sportsplex for the best fans in the Land, and we are very optimistic about the future.
