CRUNCH TAKE CARE OF BUSINESS IN THE MILE HIGH CITY WITH 10-7 WIN OVER COLORADO BUCKS

In a match that had fans on the edge of their seats on Saturday night at the Foothills Fieldhouse in Denver, CO, the Cleveland Crunch emerged victorious against the Colorado Bucks with a final score of 10-7.

The game kicked off with a scoreless first quarter, setting the stage for an intense battle. However, it was Mikey Derezic who broke the deadlock early into the second, scoring off an assist from Aidan Bozak. The Bucks swiftly responded, leveling the score at 1-1 less than a minute later. Undeterred by the Bucks' quick reply, the Crunch responded with two more goals from Derezic and Omar Najjar taking a 3-1 lead into halftime.

The second half witnessed an offensive surge from both teams. Despite a spirited 4th quarter rally from the Bucks, the Cleveland Crunch showcased tenacious defense and executed on the offensive end. Ryan Minick and Kevin Blackwood each netted two goals, while Chris Cvecko, Dave Jordan, and Parker Csiszar added one goal apiece to the tally. Goalkeeper Connor Robinson, making his first start of the season for the Crunch, recorded an impressive 7 saves.

Kevin Blackwood's standout performance, marked by two goals and four assists, earned him the well-deserved title of MetroHealth Man of the Match.

The Crunch is set to return to their home turf this Saturday February 24, for an eagerly anticipated matchup against Rapid City FC. For more information and updates, including ticket sales and upcoming events, visit www.theclevelandcrunch.com or follow us on social media.
