CRUNCH DEFEAT DETROIT IN 19-3 VICTORY

Cleveland, Ohio – The Crunch advanced to 8-3 March 18 with a 19-3 win over the Detroit Waza Flo.

Midfielder Admir Suljevic was on fire and completed a hat trick in the first quarter. Midfielder Tom Beck also found the back of the net off a pass from Suljevic. Ryan Minick scored, putting the Crunch up 5-1 at the end of the first.


The second quarter started off strong with Beck completing a hat trick. Suljevic found the back of the net for a fourth time, and Dave Jordan and Mikey Derezic also scored their first goals of the night. Minick scored two more goals before the quarter ended, putting the Crunch up 12-1 at the half.


Derezic and Beck each scored two goals and Gabriel Pewu scored his first goal of the game in the third. The Crunch went into the fourth quarter up 17-3. 


In the fourth quarter, Beck scored his sixth goal of the game and Bobby Tsirambidis scored his first goal.


Tom Beck was awarded the MetroHealth “Man of the Match” honor. Beck was on fire with six goals and two assists. 


The Crunch will play in their last regular season game at 3:00 p.m. March 19, where they will host the Cincinnati Swerve for Fan Appreciation Day.
