UNDEFEATED CRUNCH SET TO TAKE ON THE MUSKEGON RISERS SATURDAY AT 7 PM

by Kelsey Lauriel

February 8, 2022 (Cleveland, Ohio) - The Crunch is ready to defend its undefeated record at home this weekend, as it takes on the Muskegon Risers at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 12, at the Soccer Sportsplex in North Olmsted, Ohio.

"The team has their mind set on protecting our home field, so we are looking forward to Saturday. Muskegon is coming off an impressive win against Chicago. Our guys cannot take them lightly.  We must respect every opponent and be prepared to get their best effort, especially when we know how they were likely disappointed with their last effort against us. That just means they’re probably going to come out even harder.  We need to be ready mentally and physically. I’m confident our players understand that," said Cleveland Crunch Head Coach Louis Kastelic.

Last weekend, the Crunch traveled down to Cincinnati, where they beat the Swerve 11-3.

Saturday’s game is the last home game for the Crunch before they have a four-week stretch of away games. The final home game of the season will take place on Saturday, March 19, versus the Cincinnati Swerve.

Tickets for Saturday’s game are now on sale and can be purchased at https://www.theclevelandcrunch.com/tickets. Single-game tickets are $12.00.
